Dutch Vonk B.V. Appointed Telva Distributor for Obsidian™ IR Light
On November 22nd, 2023, Telva announced, together with Dutch company Vonk B.V., the start of commercial co-operation for Telva’s lighting products.
Following the product launch of ObsidianTM, Telva’s revolutionary IR light with limited and controlled range, in August 2023, Telva has embarked on a commercial collaboration with Dutch company Vonk B.V. According to Mr Tapani Hollmén, Telva’s CEO: “Opening shop with Vonk, an established and reliable distributor and vendor in the Dutch market, strengthens our presence in the field of military lighting and offers us a fast track to specific customer segments. Vonk is, like Telva, a family-owned company of high repute, in other words a perfect partner for Telva in these first stages of going to market with our Obsidian IR light.”
Telva has onboarded Vonk B.V. as distributor for the Netherlands as of November 22nd, 2023. Vonk, located in Piershil in the Dutch province of South Holland, has been in business since 1973. To kick off the collaboration in a concrete fashion, Vonk B.V. will be attending the NIDV Exhibition Defence Security event (NEDS) in Rotterdam in November 2023 as an exhibitor, with a showcase of Telva’s lighting products, including the Obsidian light. Telva Obsidian is an IR light with limited and controlled range, enabling undetected night-time operations. Obsidian is suitable for mounting on vehicles, both as a retrofit application and early-stage integration. The light is powered by external battery and controlled via a remote control unit or serial bus. The first customer deliveries are planned for Q4/2023.
